Guidance Counselor

Ihave no idea the way to make a living

that is your business, you've got to be what you should be

I don't worry that I won't be here tomorrow

all I know is that's the way it works for me

I don't care if it rains on my vacation

I don't care if I gotta go sleep out in the hall

I don't mind if my roof might leak a little

some might have a fit but that don't bother me at all

I got no plans, don't know nothin' 'bout my future

I think I used to have some kind of 401(k)

got no interest in what's waitin' around the corner

got nothing going after about three o'clock today

I don't put no stock in my possessions

as a matter of fact, I'm trying to lighten my load

'cause all we have is time to love one another

everything else is all just rocks in the road
