Connection

There are lines of love and light
connecting all our lives
it's bigger that a feeling
bigger than we realize
it's something we don't understand
but it's too big to ignore
it brings us all together
it's like the key to every door
but we're losing our connection

there's a feeling in the spring time
your senses feel the change
to deny the love that's in your heart
is to try to rearrange
an order that's been given
before it all began
the seasons are a circle that
fulfills an ancient plan

there are networks that connect us
like there is no night or day
but with every new connection

like satellites, our homes become

the hawk is watching over
the paths of those who love us
but the only things that we hold sacred
are the things that we've created
and things that we condemn and fear
